PRVCA Cancels Hershey Show
The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) said it is canceling the 2020 Hershey America’s Largest RV Show, scheduled for Sept. 16 to 20 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. That’s a first in the Hershey Show’s 53-year history.
The PRVCA said it made the decision reluctantly after consulting with various players within the industry.
“As COVID-19 outbreaks continue to be of concern, PRVCA worked to find ways to hold a show while protecting the health and safety of all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff,” the organization said in its announcement. “Unfortunately, the hurdles were too great to overcome based on the information we have right now.”
“We are very disappointed that we cannot hold the show this year,” said Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director. “Health and safety is always our highest priority in hosting America’s Largest RV Show. After considering all possible ways to host the show, we have decided that canceling is the best decision. Our goal is always to provide a great show experience for our booth vendors, manufacturers, exhibitors and attendees. We plan to come back even stronger for our 2021 show.”
The 2021 Hershey Show is scheduled for Sept. 15 to 19.
