RVTI, Truma To Host August Advanced Training Session
Registration opened yesterday for the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) and Truma’s Monday, Aug. 25 course addressing the Truma AquaGo on-demand water heater and the Truma Combi 2-in-1 furnace and water heater.
By taking this free course, participants can earn eight hours of credit towards the RV Technical Institute’s Level 3 Appliance Specialist certification, which focuses on furnaces, instantaneous water heaters and hydronic/combination units.
The certificate of completion provided by Truma can be used as part of the RV Technical Institute Level 3 Appliance application. The course will take place at the RV Technical Institute’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana.
Registration for each session will open six weeks prior to the event date. All remaining courses and registration dates for 2025 are as follows:
Offering this course is another way that the RV Technical Institute and its partners, including Truma, are working to elevate technician training and, ultimately, improve the RVing experience.
To attend the course, technicians must be an RV Technical Institute Level 2 technician or above. Failure to meet this requirement will automatically forfeit registration. The Level 2 pre-requisite allows technical knowledge to be immediately delivered at a higher level, enhancing productivity and outcome. Additionally, this means that technicians are away from their dealerships for less time.
Vendors and suppliers interested in partnering with the RV Technical Institute to host technician training courses at the Institute are welcome to contact Vice President of Education and Operations Sharonne Lee at slee@rvti.org.
