PRVCA To Hold RVTI Level 1 Training in Pennsylvania

RV technicians can grow their knowledge and obtain Level 1 certification through RV Technical Institute (RVTI) training, Nov. 16-20, in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The training is presented by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle & Camping Association (PRVCA) as an authorized partner of the RVTI.

“Fall is a great time for RV technicians to improve their skillset,” said Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director. “We’re pleased to bring RVTI training to Pennsylvania, so technicians don’t have to travel far to get the training that they need.”

Instructor Chris Dougherty will teach the five-day training from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project, 191 Performance Road, Sunbury, Pennsylvania.

The Level 1 training course covers all aspects of a pre-delivery inspection, including electrical, propane and water systems, appliances, generators, chassis and body. Technicians will gain the knowledge to prepare an RV for customer delivery by verifying the operation of all the components.

Upon completion of the course, technicians will need to pass Level 1 written and skill-based exams to earn the certification.

PRVCA members attend the training for free, the association said. Member companies and their staff members receive free or discounted training with their PRVCA membership. For more information about membership, visit prvca.org.
