Qualeben said the slim design offers a large 4.8-pound ice bin capacity and can produce up to 26 pounds of fresh ice per day. From first switch-on, its fast operation is extremely convenient, taking just 16 minutes to make its first ice, the company said.
The ‘smart’ ice maker can perform auto water refills for an endless production of ice. Simply connect tap water with the provided hose to the ice maker, and it will automatically refill itself when it detects its reservoir requires it. As the ice bin reaches full, it also stops automatically.
The Quelegen also offers quick self-cleaning. Simply pressing the clean button performs a fast yet thorough, eight-minute self-cleaning cycle that flushes fresh water throughout the system. The detachable filter and internal cleaning system will ensure users cleanliness and health.
ETL Certification, FDA compliance and a long two-year warranty assures customers of its quality design and hygienic practices. The unit comes with an ice scoop, 10-foot hose and addition drain plug and retails for an MSRP of $499.00.
