REDARC announced the introduction of its GoBlock to the North American market.

“This rugged and powerful 100Ah (1,200 watt) portable dual-battery system is the perfect way to power any adventure. The GoBlock is engineered to be used as both an in-vehicle dual-battery system and a portable power station. With its retractable handles, transporting it from a vehicle is simple, allowing users to establish a dependable power supply anywhere, from backcountry camps and construction sites to tailgates. Additionally, its design facilitates easy transfer between vehicles, ensuring users always have a power supply for every journey, no matter the vehicle, whether it’s a van, overland rig, UTV or a boat,” the company said.

The GoBlock features a broad range of charging options. In addition to the standard low current DC in-vehicle accessory socket and AC overnight chargers, it can also be charged via alternator and solar inputs. The PowerDock, the GoBlock’s in-vehicle docking station, allows a rapid 50A recharge rate, meaning in around two hours, users can have a massive 100Ahs of power.

Additionally, the PowerDock ensures that the GoBlock remains securely fastened in your vehicle, preventing it from rolling around and providing safety for all occupants during sudden stops. The GoBlock features lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells with a lifecycle of 2,000 charges — four times more than comparable products.

Using Bluetooth technology, the GoBlock can connect to the RedVision smartphone app, giving users access to the battery’s state of charge, system diagnostics and the ability to receive over-the-air software updates. Equipped with USB, accessory, Merit, fridge and Anderson outputs, GoBlock is ideal for powering smart devices, speakers, cameras and drones, as well as powering lights, compressors, power coolers, up to 700-watt inverters and more.

Designed and tested in the Australian outback, the GoBlock has established itself as the world’s most rugged portable power station by outperforming every competitor in REDARC’s 10-year simulated vibration testing, the company said. Born from a commitment to innovation and built to endure the rigors of the outdoors, it includes a Start Battery Recovery feature, which allows users to quickly charge a vehicle’s start battery in just 15 minutes — enabling self-rescue in remote locations. Operating efficiently across extreme temperatures, the GoBlock also boasts an IP52 rating, ensuring durability and providing dependable energy even when faced with wind, moisture, dust or grime, making it a power solution built to last.
