Regency RV has announced it is relocating its newly acquired National Traveler Class B motorhome production line in Elkhart, Ind., to its manufacturing and corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
Owner and Founder of Regency RV Wayne Davis sited production efficiencies and maintaining quality control as the primary motivation behind the manufacturing consolidation of the National Traveler brand to Texas.
“Regency has made the decision to move the National Traveler production line to its facilities in Fort Worth, Texas,” said Davis. “This move was made for numerous reasons, but the benefits to our dealers and customers include tighter controls over every phase of the production process, expanding upon our team of experienced craftsmen who have been building our award-winning coaches thus far, and creating a single-source contact location for our dealer partners and vendors.”
Davis stated that the move would not be easy but would pay off in quality and product continuity in the future. Regency RV is looking forward to introducing new Ultra and National Traveler products at the RVX Show in Salt Lake City next month.
“The merging of production lines of high-quality products is not without challenges including the transition time,” he said. “But Regency RV is excited to begin production of the National Traveler in its new Texas facilities adding value and strength to an already exceptional product.”
Dealers can visit Regency RV and its 2019 Ultra Brougham and National Traveler brands at the RVX Show in Salt Lake City, Utah, in booth No. 4639 in March.
