Renogy Bolsters Team To Support North American Growth
Renogy, a global leader in off-grid and mobile energy solutions, announced the strategic appointment of two highly respected RV industry veterans to its North American sales team. John Kendall joins the company as western regional sales manager, and Mike Barnes joins as OEM technical sales manager, based in Elkhart, Indiana.

These strategic appointments underscore Renogy’s continued commitment to expanding its footprint within the RV and mobile power segments, the company said in a release, elevating support for dealers, upfitters and original equipment manufacturers.
“John and Mike are joining an already strong team, and their deep industry knowledge, long-standing relationships, and dynamic energy will only make us stronger,” said Tiffany Dorin, vice president and head of operations, North America at Renogy. “We are continuously looking to expand how we serve our dealers, OEM partners and the broader off-grid community. I am incredibly grateful to welcome them aboard and look forward to the milestones we will accomplish together.”
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Kendall will focus on expanding Renogy’s dealer and distributor network across vital RV and outdoor markets. He will collaborate closely with retailers, installers and channel partners to broaden market access to Renogy’s premier integrated solar, battery and power management solutions. Kendall brings over 30 years of experience in senior sales and regional leadership, having successfully served RV OEMs and industry suppliers with a proven track record in territory development and exceptional customer support.
Operating out of Elkhart, Indiana, widely recognized as the heart of North American RV manufacturing, Barnes brings nearly six decades of unparalleled experience to his new role as OEM technical sales manager, Renogy said. He will be instrumental in supporting RV manufacturers and upfitters as they integrate Renogy’s advanced off-grid power systems into new vehicle platforms. Honored as one of RV PRO’s RVeterans award recipients in 2025, Barnes is widely respected across the industry for his hands-on approach, technical expertise and dedication to helping manufacturers overcome real-world power and installation challenges to meet stringent production timelines.
The addition of Kendall and Barnes aligns with Renogy’s rapid growth trajectory, Renogy said, and follows recent, significant corporate investments in comprehensive dealer training, enhanced technical support and continuous product innovation across solar technology, LiFePO4 and semi-solid-state batteries and smart energy management platforms.
