The geographical distances of many camping destinations make installing EV chargers a logistical challenge.The RV Industry Association hosted a webinar last Wednesday, Oct. 4, discussing the industry’s EV Charging Infrastructure Initiative. RVIA has made this webinar available for re-viewing, for those who missed it last week.
At the webinar, RVIA Vice President of Government Affairs Jason Rano provided updates on the initiative and shared the latest insights on RVers’ plans for buying and using EVs to tow RVs.
In the wake of unprecedented government funding to reimagine the EV charging landscape, the RVIA’s government affairs team launched lobbying efforts to ensure plans for this new charging infrastructure account for RVs.
As part of those efforts, the association released a report and financial analysis earlier this summer that makes the case for federal funding to be used to install pull-through electric vehicle charging stations to meet the needs of RVers today and well into the future.
