Retail Sales Down 11.68% YOY in November, Says SSI
In November 2025, the RV industry recorded a –11.68% year-over-year decline, according to Statistical Surveys, Inc., a subsidiary of Trader Interactive that gathers data and insights on the RV industry.
This decline marks a notable pullback amid ongoing economic uncertainty, compared to a 0.68% YOY increase in November 2024, the report from SSI said.
Here are the November 2025 findings released by SSI on Jan. 12:
New RV sales varied across categories:
- Motorized RVs: -9.58% YOY
- Towable RVs: –11.98% YOY

Performing in Line with the Market:
- Fifth Wheels: -11.73%
- Travel Trailers: -11.91%
Underperforming the Market:
- Class B: -16.01%
- Class A: -25.21%
Outperforming the Market:
- Class C: 1.51%
Regional Performance — Where Demand is Rising & Falling
Despite the overall decline, some markets are significantly outperforming the national average, creating growth opportunities, according to SSI. However, other markets are experiencing steeper declines, indicating potential challenges for dealers.

- Eugene–Springfield, OR → +79.17% YoY
- Portland, OR → +41.75% YoY
- Longview–Marshall, TX → +39.53% YoY
- Melbourne–Titusville, FL → +39.22% YoY
- Dover, DE → +30.91% YoY
Declining Markets – November 2025
- Asheville–Hendersonville, NC → -51.67% YoY
- Spokane, WA → -44.33% YoY
- Lexington, KY → -42.39% YoY
- Tampa–St. Petersburg–Clearwater, FL → -38.95% YoY
- Nashville, TN → -37.74% YoY
Used RV Market Trends – November 2025
Used RV sales declined -2.11% YYY in November 2025, which was a more moderate decrease that suggests continued consumer interest in pre-owned units, SSI’s report said.
