REV Group, manufacturer of specialty vehicles, has been named a 2024 “Bronze Military Friendly Employer” and “Military Friendly Spouse Employer” by VIQTORY, a veteran-owned military marketing company.
This marks the first year REV Group has been recognized for demonstrating its “commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community,” and providing a positive work environment for military veterans, the company said.
REV Group manufactures coast to coast, building fire apparatus, ambulances, school buses, RVs and more. REV Group said it hires on average 120 to 140 active duty or military veterans each year.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,200 companies participated in the 2024 Military Friendly survey. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders in the military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Recruitment, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
