ROUTE 66 RV Network Shares Goals at 20th Annual Rally
The Route 66 RV Network gathered recently for its 20th annual ROUTE 66 Rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The three-day rally took place at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, starting with a round of golf played on a local championship course and then a welcome reception allowing members, partners and staff alike to greet familiar faces and network.
Meetings opened with ROUTE 66 RV Network Partner, Rob Merrill, highlighting the network’s strengths that exist for a united network of independent RV dealers. Some of those strengths he highlighted were dealers with a commitment to integrity; customer service and after-sale support; the network’s strong partnerships; consumer-driven programs; innovative technology assets; and its deep history.
“Our story needs to be told – local owners who have a higher level of commitment to their customers,” said Merrill in his opening notes.
The group also brought in U.S. Army Gen. Paul E. Funk II to speak to the effectiveness of bringing together independent forces and working as one to achieve a common goal.
There were also many different sessions for members to attend covering a variety of topics of interest, and there was a Partner Expo that allowed dealers and partners to further connect.
There were two awards that went to group members: The “Larry Coker Commitment Award” was presented to Brian Bent of Bent’s RV for his continued all-in commitment to the network, and the “Dave Francis Trusted Partner Award” was presented to Joe LaPelusa for consumer products, MaxxGard, RoadSentry and ExpertGap.
Additionally, the network utilized the time together to thank the board members concluding their time serving the Dealer Advisory Board and welcome the following new board members for 2023-2024:
Kimberly Kroubetz Kroubetz Lakeside Campers
Robert Longshaw Uncharted Recreation
Beau Durkee Carson City RV
