Spring is here and many Mainers are thinking about camping weather.
The nineteenth annual Vacationland RV and Camping Show kicked off Saturday at the Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Event organizers say this is the largest RV and camping show under one roof in Maine, with more than fifty campgrounds and local Maine businesses.
Some of the large RV dealers are helping Maine people get ready to enjoy a summer outdoors.
Executive director for the Maine Campground Owners Association Kathy Dyer says this is an event that thousands of Mainers look forward to.
“Camping is a huge part of the tourism industry here in Maine,” said Dyer. “Camping to these folks, it’s their life.”
