RV Care, Canada’s largest RV dealer network, said Don Main is now their newly appointed chairman of the board. The RV Care Board of Directors unanimously approved Main as their third chairman in the company’s 20-year history.
Main had previously been the president of Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, since 1978 and has served the Canadian RV industry in many capacities for more than 40 years. He was chairman for RV Dealers Association of Manitoba and RVDA of Canada, and sat on the board of directors of the RVDA of America for four years. As a founding member of the RV Care Network, Main played an integral role in the company’s vision and evolution, and that will now continue for another three years as he undertakes his new role.
Main takes over as board chairman from Don Sneyd, whose three-year term as chairman expired in mid-June. Sneyd was also a founding member of RV Care and sat on the board of directors for 17 years before serving as chairman for three. He has a total of more than 50 years in the RV business.
Jeff Redmond, from Bucars RV Centre, was re-nominated and approved to a second three-year term as treasurer and secretary; and newly nominated and approved Chris Milosek from Primo Trailer Sales in Ottawa, Ontario, rounds out the remainder of half of the six-director board.
The RV Care Network is made up of 73 dealer locations, 35 of them as Authorized Northern Spirit dealers. All are committed to servicing each other’s traveling customers in moments of unexpected servicing needs, the company said.
