RV Companies NHTSA’s Weekly Recall List

This week’s recall list from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration includes several RV listings of note.

Daimler Vans USA has announced the recall of its 2019 Freightliner Sprinter (VS30), Sprinter 1500, Sprinter 2500, Sprinter 3500 and the Sprinter 4500, as well as the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (VS30). The reason is the operator’s manual may be incomplete or contain inaccurate information.

The recall number is 20V756.

Grand Design is recalling its 2020 Transcend because the stove saddle valves may leak gas. The recall number is 20V757.

Forest River is recalling its 2018-20 Forest River R-Pod because the sewer termination bracket may fail. The recall number is 20V763.

Forest River is recalling its 2020-21 XLR Toyhauler because of an incorrect federal placard/FMVSS 120. The recall number is 20V767.

And Airstream is recalling its 2019 Classic, Flying Cloud and International due to the fact that stove saddle valves may leak gas. The recall number is 20V773.
