Campers Inn RV made history this past weekend by hosting the largest grand opening celebration in the company’s history. Spanning four days and more than 50 dealership locations across the country, the Epic Grand Opening brought together families, outdoor enthusiasts and RV lovers of all kinds in a coast-to-coast celebration of community, adventure and the open road.
Over 2,500 guests visited Campers Inn RV dealerships on Saturday alone, turning parking lots and showroom floors into a nationwide festival of fun, family and everything that makes the RV lifestyle so special.
“When we dreamed up this grand opening, we hoped it would create moments that truly mattered, and for the couple from Tampa who won the RV, it did exactly that. They’ve been living the RV lifestyle for years, camping alongside friends and family, but always in someone else’s rig or a tent while building their young family. Owning an RV of their own was a dream they hadn’t been able to reach yet. Watching them win, surrounded by the friends who’ve shared so many adventures with them, was a dream come true for both them and us. We don’t just sell RVs, we help families find their ‘away.’ We couldn’t be more excited for them,” said Ben Hirsch, chief operating officer of Campers Inn RV.
Each Campers Inn RV dealership put its own unique spin on the festivities, with events tailored to their local communities. Highlights from the weekend included:
- An RV giveaway giving a family the keys to start their own adventure
- Cookouts at locations nationwide, with grills fired up and communities gathered
- Live music and food trucks bringing the party to every lot
- Balloon artists and face painters making sure the little ones were entertained as well
- Animal adoptions in partnership with local shelters, because family includes four-legged members too
- Ribbon-cutting ceremonies marking a new chapter for Campers Inn RV
- Meet & greet with RV There Yet — the fan-favorite RV family known for inspiring travelers across the country
- Meet & greet with NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes — bringing speed, excitement and star power to the celebration
The Epic Grand Opening is a reflection of what Campers Inn RV has stood for since Art and Fran Hirsch founded the company in 1966, treating every customer like family and being a trusted resource for the RV community. Campers Inn RV has grown to more than 50 locations nationwide, including the landmark acquisition of Lazydays RV in late 2025, which marked one of the largest transactions in RV industry history.
