More than 15 RV experts and influencers will be getting together on Tuesday, June 16, for the “Hit the Road RV Summit,” a virtual event organized by Go Places Media.
Virtual attendees will be able to listen and learn from the industry and RV lifestyle experts at this free, one-day event, which will be hosted by Marc and Julie Bennett of RVLove.com, RVSuccessSchool.com and co-authors of the book, “Living the RV Life – Your Ultimate Guide to Life on the Road”.
The Bennetts, who have been interviewed by dozens of media outlets in recent weeks, say the idea for the summit started in April.
“In a very short timeframe, we saw an incredible rush of interest in RVing across all the major media outlets,” said Marc Bennett. “RV rentals, RV sales and campground bookings began surging, and we could see a flood of new people are about to embark on the RV lifestyle.”
With most RV shows and rallies canceled due to the pandemic, people have been unable to visit RV dealers. “We saw a gap in the way people could learn about RV life and shop for RVs,” he said. “As soon as we started talking about the challenges all these new RVers were facing – or about to face but didn’t know it yet – we knew we wanted to help them.”
“With summer around the corner, we felt the need was urgent, so we sprang into action,” added Julie Bennett. “We figured the sooner we held the event, the more people we could help. So, we’ve been going a million miles an hour pulling it together, and we are thrilled with the lineup. These amazing people all saw the vision, believed in our mission, and said yes right away.”
A wide variety of guests will be discussing various aspects of RV life, with topics ranging from buying an RV, to RV service, technology, campgrounds, ways to save money, recommended travel destinations, and more.
There will even be musical entertainment provided by singer/songwriter – and RVer – Audrey Callahan.
