RV Learning Center College Scholarship Awarded to Grant Brown

Grant Brown has been chosen to receive the Mike Molino RV Learning Center Scholarship for the academic year 2025-2026.

Endowed through the Kindlund Family Foundation, the $2,500 award goes to a deserving RV industry employee or their dependent enrolled in undergraduate studies. His father, Matt Brown, is the general manager at Little Dealer Little Prices (Campers Inn of Mesa).

Brown is a rising junior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, with a double major in business management and finance. He has achieved a 3.54 GPA in his undergraduate studies.

“I’ve grown up watching my dad work in the RV business. I have experienced how the RV industry is about selling something that enables families to create memories that last a lifetime,” said Brown. “I find this industry extremely rewarding because there are very few industries where the product you sell can bring people and families together in this way.”

“The Mike Molino RV Learning Center is proud to recognize Grant Brown for his outstanding achievements both in the classroom and in the community,” said Ally Brown, education director of the RV Learning Center. “His dedication, talent and passion for learning represent the bright future of the RV industry.”

The Kindlund family, which endowed the scholarship program with $370,000, remains active in the RV industry even after selling its corporation, Holiday RV Superstores, in 1999. Newt Kindlund serves as director emeritus on the RV Learning Center Board of Directors. “This scholarship is one of the oldest in the industry and we are very proud to have established it over 20 years ago,” Kindlund said.

The Learning Center’s scholarship program recognizes deserving rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors. Applicants are judged on their current RV industry involvement or their plan to seek employment in the industry upon graduation, academic achievement, extracurricular activities and honors, financial need, and a 500-word essay on their goals and objectives after college. The program has awarded $85,000 to 34 students since its inception in 2000.

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center is a leading resource for targeted publications, fixed operations certification programs, online learning and training, and live workshops – all designed exclusively for dealership staff.
