In an effort to address the topic of properly installing low voltage connectors the RV Industry Association’s Electrical Technical Subcommittee and the RV Industry Association Standards Steering Committee approved an educational document for training purposes of production personnel.
This document is intended for educational use only and is not intended to prohibit the use of any system for making low voltage connections that complies with ANSI/RVIA LV – Chapter 6. This document is intended to address connectors that are installed by hand during production and not those that are machine applied.
