Darryl Searer, president of the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Ind., announced on Friday that out of an abundance of caution, he has once again postponed the Annual RV/MH Hall of Fame Induction Dinner until Thursday, May 13, 2021. The event was originally scheduled for Aug. 3rd but was postponed until Dec. 3 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Even though Indiana has reached Stage 5 in its reopening plan it is far from being back to normal for our induction dinner scheduled for Dec 3, as it relates to people traveling in from other states and Canada, Searer said. “In addition to unpredictable weather at that time of year, many states and Canada are enforcing a quarantine period when they return home.
“Therefore, I believe our next best choice, to give the inductees the honor and prestige that goes with being inducted, is to move the induction dinner to May 13. 2021.”
