RV PRO’s Promise to the RV Industry Amidst COVID-19

This article is from our older website archives. Some content may not be formatted or attributed properly. Please Contact Us if you feel it needs to be corrected. Thank you.

In two weeks, we have gone from concern to a pandemic. A friend of mine noticed how closely the words “pandemic” and “pandemonium” are related.

Certainly, the news and behavior of individuals has mirrored that latter term. We don’t know how long things will last. Personally, I have found comfort in the words of President Franklin D. Roosevelt during his 1933 inaugural address:

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is … fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.”

President Roosevelt spoke those words 87 years ago, but they still resonate today. You should read the rest of the speech. The times and his speech hold true.

RV PRO’s promise to the industry is that we will do our best to help provide information that is not excitable, inflammatory or speculative but accurate, factual, true and practical for the RV industry professional to run their business and do their job amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

We appreciate the partnership of the entire industry and the strength of its leaders.  We invite you to share:

  • What you are learning during this time
  • What technology you are using to run your business
  • Questions to which you are seeking answers

Please email me at ccieto@nbm.com . I promise to read and respond.

The RV industry will get through this together and continue to enjoy the things that make it great: family, fun and the great outdoors.

Let’s convert a retreat into an advance together.

Sincerely,
Chris Cieto
