A company that sells and repairs RVs is relocating from its current location in Hamilton, Ontario, to Beamsville.
Outdoor Travel Inc., currently operating in Hamilton, will make the move to the Niagara suburb of Beamsville next year.
The new multi-story facility, right off the QEW will be about 38,000 square feet, with a showroom, offices and more than a dozen service bays, NewsTalk 610 reports.
This new construction will allow Outdoor Travel to more than double its current business services, with plans for additional capacity and a much larger service facility.
“This is great news for the community,” said Mayor Sandra Easton. “Anytime we can have new business and jobs coming to our community, I am excited. This move signals a renewed focus on economic development to our community.”
“I look forward to welcoming Outdoor Travel to Lincoln,” added Easton.
“We are a family owned and operated business,” added Andy Whiting, owner of the family run, Outdoor Travel. “This will be a destination dealership that will bring people from all around the golden horseshoe, as well as further afield. We already sell across Ontario, and Canada, and rent to local customers as well as international customers – this will increase tourism to the area.”
Outdoor Travel, originally located in Burlington, moved to its current 7,800-square-foot building at Eastport Drive in Hamilton in 1998. The business is a full-service dealership offering sales, service, parts, accessories and rentals.
