As 72 million Americans plan to RV this year, the need for trained and skilled RV technicians is bigger than ever. The show covers the history of RVTI, why consumers should seek out RVTI-certified technicians at dealerships and mobile shops, how to start your career as a technician, and why this career path can allow for a lucrative, flexible life.

With RVing becoming increasingly popular and RVs becoming more technological, the need for trained, competent and high-quality technicians is also growing. RVTI’s curriculum is built by the people who build RVs, so students are learning real-world material.

“As an RV consumer and RV owner, I certainly would want to seek out an RVTI-certified tech for anything complex, for electrification, for issues with the slide out, anything to do with safety. But I would also think that it’s highly recommended to seek out a certified tech even just for maintenance, winterization and resealing the RV every year,” Jeremy Puglisi, co-host of The RV Atlas podcast, stated in the interview with Hemmeler.
