RV Trader Offers Educational Resources for Virtual Buying Process

RV Trader, an online marketplace for new and used RVs, recently launched a campaign to assist consumers with the virtual RV buying process. The resources available to interested RV buyers through this initiative include a detailed buying guide, an on-demand RV buying webinar led by an industry expert, videos, an upcoming Facebook live Q&A, and more. RV Trader said with this project, it is striving to educate and assist potential buyers through the modern-day digital buying process of buying an RV.

RV Trader said it created these free resources in response to the increased popularity in digital retailing as demonstrated by the tools released on its own website over the last two years. Features such as Live Chat, SMS, and Request a Video Chat, improved the virtual shopping experience for consumers and dealers’ ability to connect meaningfully and quickly with interested buyers, it said. Both the digital retailing tools and this new campaign support how shopping happens in today’s world.

RV Trader said that in early 2020, research showed that 75 percent of people do extensive research online before taking action to connect with a seller. This trend only increased during the rest of 2020, out of both necessity and convenience.

“Traffic on our website was up 53 percent in 2020 as compared to 2019,” said Simon Heseltine, vice president of audience growth for RV Trader. “We’ve experienced the expansion of digital sales first-hand and our new campaign aims to help consumers navigate the world of virtual buying.”

RV Trader said that with this campaign, it aims to empower consumers with the knowledge they need to feel confident in navigating the modern buying process, without ever having to walk into a dealership.

“We’ve recognized the uptick in digital and contactless shopping due to COVID-19 and modern consumer preferences. We wanted to help our consumers easily navigate through that process when it involves buying investment items digitally, like an RV,” said Troy Snyder, vice president of digital retailing for RV Trader. “We’ve put together a comprehensive selection of resources to empower our customers to take charge of their digital shopping experience to find the perfect RV for them.”
