The RVDA of Alberta named Ken Friedenberg of ArrKann Trailer & RV Centre as being selected as Alberta’s nominee for the RVDA of Canada’s “Dealer of the Year.”
“We sent a letter to (RVDA of Canada President) Eleonore Hamm last week highlighting Ken’s contributions to the RV Industry and about his work with charities and especially how he mentors and has helped develop many of his employees into becoming long-time members of the ArrKann family and staying in our industry,” Dan Merkowsky wrote to RVDA of Alberta members.
The attributes considered in the selection included dedication, reputation, participation and success.
“We feel Ken’s attitude and personal demeanor have also made this decision easy,” RVDA of Alberta wrote in the submission letter.
Friedenberg is the father to three children and has two grandchildren with a third on the way.
As Friedenberg withdrew from day-to-day operations, he has remained dedicated to the dealership. He helped set-up a Board of Advisors to aid in guiding ArrKann’s growth to the next level. The Board consists of five people, including two business professionals from outside the industry.
The Board’s role is to help ensure the company is heading in the right direction, create accountability and ask the right questions so that the dealership is poised to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
