RVDA Board Finalizes Plan for FY 2022
The RV Dealers Association board of directors approved a $3.96 million fiscal year 2022 plan, program and budget during a meeting June 10 in Virginia.
As the organization readies for its live 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo in November, the association said it is working to help RV dealers maintain momentum as the industry experiences record sales growth. The 2022 fiscal year budget, which takes effect July 1, includes:
- Support for association legislative priorities, including its involvement in the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) and other federal and state issues that impact dealers.
- Education programs and networking opportunities at the RV Dealers Convention/ Expo, including a virtual element, following the live event at Paris Las Vegas.
- Support for the Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) initiative, including the Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s service writer/advisor online training program and a future web-based program for parts managers and specialists.
- Enhanced member benefit programs delivered through the RV Assistance Corp. (RVAC)
The board made plans to explore expanding eligibility for service on the association’s Board of Delegates to dealer branch members and created a task force to plan for further integration of digital content into the live convention.
RVDA’s vice president for administration, Ronnie Hepp, also announced to the board that she will retire in March 2022 after more than 25 years of service to the association.
