RVDA Con/Expo Leadership Course To Focus on ‘Giving Feedback’

The RV Dealers Association (RVDA) announced Peacebuilder Consultant Sara Jeckovich, from Pollack Peacebuilding Systems, will present “Giving Feedback” as RVDA’s special session on leadership development.

This half-day course is offered in conjunction with the 2024 RV Dealers Convention/Expo for an additional $124 fee and has been made possible by Gulf Stream Coach for nine consecutive years.

Dealers can register for the RVDA Convention/Expo and this course on the convention website. With attendance for the course capped at 50 dealership professionals, early registration is encouraged, the organization said.

Jeckovich

Through creativity and collaboration, Jeckovich’s work as a peacebuilder consultant focuses on combining individual methods with structural initiatives to create effective and constructive practices that lay the foundation for the building of peace. Working as a consultant, Jeckovich has coached and facilitated individuals and teams from various industries, helping to enhance their effective communication skills to mitigate destructive conflict and increase efficiency. To view a preview of this course, click here.

“The RVDA Leadership Development Course brings together some of the brightest young minds in the industry at the RVDA Convention/Expo,” said President of Gulf Stream Coach Phil Sarvari. “Gulf Stream Coach is excited to be a part of the professional growth of these leaders of tomorrow.”

The Leadership Development Course is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, during the 2024 RV Dealers Convention/Expo. The convention/expo will take place Nov. 11-15 at Paris Las Vegas.

Giving and receiving feedback skillfully is a core leadership competency. It builds trust, improves performance, and promotes a more peaceful and productive workplace. Filled with real-life examples, discussion and roleplay practice, “Giving Feedback” will transform the way management offers feedback to their team.

Those who attend this leadership course will learn:

  • How to peacefully give feedback on challenging ideas.
  • How to give effective feedback on troubling behavior or language.
  • How to initiate and effectively lead a difficult conversation.
  • Increase rapport and collaboration across people and departments.
  • Set clear expectations and hold people accountable peacefully.

Participants will receive take home content packets. In addition, course registration will include free 90-day access to Peacebuilder’s asynchronous “Giving Feedback” training program.
