RVDA Con/Expo Workshop To Cover How To Boost Dealership Fixed Ops Profits
Ken Barnes, an experienced fixed ops veteran and director of sales for DealerPRO RV Training, will unveil how to boost a dealership’s fixed ops performance during a pair of workshops at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.

“Two Controllables That Can Double Your Fixed Ops GP in Less Than 12 Months” will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13. Barnes will review pay plans that motivate service and parts personnel and management tactics that grow gross profits while providing a better customer experience. Throughout this presentation, results from a case study will be shared on boosting service and parts gross profit.

- Accurately define and calculate labor margin and parts margin and understand their impact on gross profit.

Next, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, Barnes will present “Fix it Once, Retain Them for Life.” In this workshop, Barnes shares real-world strategies RV dealers are using right now to create frictionless service experiences. This session covers how to use data and digital touchpoints to modernize your process, increase repeat business, and turn every repair order into a relationship.
