RVDA Con/Expo Workshop To Focus on Providing Better Warranty Service
Chris Balderrama, co-founder and president of iClaims Services and director of fixed ops and warranty administration for RVsurance, will host “Broken Promises: The RV Warranty Crisis” from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

In this session, Balderrama will unpack how the industry can better serve its customers, improve trust in RV brands, and what changes are needed to meet the expectations of today’s RV consumers.
“In addition to dealership professionals, I invite manufacturers to attend this session for insights on what is happening at the store level with the warranty process,” said Balderrama. “This workshop will explore ways dealers and manufacturers can work together to modernize the RV consumer’s warranty experience.”
Learning outcomes for this session:
- Identify the key breakdowns in the current RV warranty process, including delays, poor communication and parts supply issues.
- Understand how these systemic failures negatively impact RV owners and damage long-term brand trust and customer satisfaction.
- Explore practical strategies to modernize the warranty experience — better communication tools and improved dealer/OEM alignment.
