The 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo will feature keynote speaker Ryan Estis on Nov. 7-11, at Bally’s Las Vegas.
“Unleash Your Inner Superhero: Keys to Achieving Breakthrough Performance,” will be presented at the opening general session on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The convention is sponsored by RVDA – The National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
Estis has more than 20 years of experience as a top-performing sales professional and leader. As former chief strategy officer for the McCann Worldgroup advertising agency NAS, he brings a fresh perspective to business events. Ryan helps people see new opportunity through techniques that remove the barriers of fear, doubt and uncertainty that threaten to inhibit performance.
“Having Ryan take the stage at the opening general session will get the convention/expo off to a great start for dealers and staff; we’ll head out motivated to be our best and prepared to capitalize on the great opportunities before us,” said Ron Shepherd of Camperland of Oklahoma, the chair of the convention expo committee. “We chose him to address our members because when things are good it is an even greater challenge to stride toward change and Ryan can give us the tools and motivation to do that.”
The theme is Gear Up for Success, and dealers are encouraged to bring their top performers for a week of fixed-operations training and education, leadership development, networking, and motivation that will take their performance to new heights.
The week starts with Vendor Training +Plus on Monday and Tuesday and includes a general session, educational and networking programs for young executives, Partners in Progress meetings, and track workshops designed to address the leading issues that drive every department in the dealership. In addition, the Society of Certified RV Professionals will head into its third year with another special event featuring recognitions, a guest speaker, and networking opportunities. Registrants can also attend a mini-rental school at no extra charge.
Relevant education tracks that address dealerships’ key areas offer a curriculum designed specifically for RV dealership employees. Education tracks for dealer/GMs, sales, service, parts, F&I, rental, and social media/eMarketing offer something to meet the professional development needs of most fixed-ops professionals.
There will also be an expo with more than 100 exhibitors that serve RV dealers by providing insurance products, finance tools, and training expertise, as well as the leading suppliers and manufacturers. These exhibitors can offer the dealer new ways to improve sales, management, customer service, and employee performance.
