The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is proud to announce that Chelsea May, national warranty manager at Fraserway RV, has been named the recipient of the 2025 George Goodrick Emerging Leader Award. The award was presented at the RVDA of BC Annual General Meeting held in Kelowna, British Columbia.

May’s career in the RV industry is a remarkable story of growth, resilience and leadership. She began in 2016 as a detailer and quickly advanced through several roles — including receptionist and warranty administrator — before stepping into her current role as national warranty manager at Fraserway RV. Today, she oversees a remote team supporting warranty processes across 12 locations nationwide, ensuring efficiency, consistency and exceptional customer service.

Her impact is recognized across the industry. May has been instrumental in streamlining warranty claims management, strengthening OEM relationships and introducing standardized processes that have elevated operational performance. Beyond her technical expertise, she is known for her mentorship, willingness to support colleagues across departments and her ability to lead with integrity.

“Chelsea is focused on getting the service and warranty processes in order and functioning at the highest level in order to provide the retail customer with the best overall service experience that Fraserway can offer. Her fair but firm approach, her understanding of data, and her continuous improvement mindset help her dig into problems and find suitable solutions,” said Mike Pedue, dealer relations manager, Forest River.

Al Nanji, vice president of fixed operations and special projects at Fraserway RV, added: “Chelsea has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic insight. Her ability to lead by example, especially during times of need, has earned her the deep respect and gratitude of those she works with.”

Upon receiving the award, May shared: “I am truly honoured to receive the George Goodrick Emerging Leader Award and to be recognized by the RVDA of Canada. Thank you for this meaningful acknowledgment, which inspires me to lead with integrity and drive innovation in our industry. I eagerly anticipate contributing at higher levels and helping to forge a dynamic path forward for all of us.”

The George Goodrick Emerging Leader Award was established to recognize young professionals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing the RV industry. Chelsea May exemplifies these qualities, making her a truly deserving recipient of this year’s award.
