RVDA Con/Expo logo

A pair of workshops offered by Shawn Moran, director of F&I RV training for BBDS, Brown & Brown Insurance, will examine critical but often overlooked aspects of a dealership’s offerings that can make a big difference in turning a profit.

Moran’s workshops are part of the F&I track at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo, taking place Nov. 6-10 at Paris Las Vegas.

From 8:15-9:15 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, Moran will cover “F&I Essential Menu Tool Kit 101.” During this session, he will explore the essentials to interviewing a customer properly, when up-front closing is necessary versus a day of delivery closing. He will then look at the setup of a simplistic menu structure to convey your interview and offer varied repayment options versus varied product options with the same repayment option.

During the workshop, attendees will learn:

  • More product-driven and aimed interviewing skills
  • Menuing 100% of the customer, 100% of the time
  • The value of higher protection plan sales and higher profits

From 10:15-11:15 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, Moran will remind dealers “Why is Roadside Your Most Essential Protection Plan You Offer?” During this session, he will deep dive into the Campers Most Assisting Protection Plan (Roadside) with video, sample scenarios and the most used benefits of the roadside plan (24-hour RV Tech support by phone, mobile tire dispatch without a spare, medical return-a-coach-home benefit and more), and how your dealership can assure a comfortable camping trip for your customers across America and Canada.

During the workshop, attendees will learn:

  • Customer retention skills
  • Relieve tech services calls from your service department
  • Increase F&I profitability
  • How to stand out from your competition through service protection benefits
