RVIA Issues Member Update on COVID-19
On Friday afternoon, the RV Industry Association’s board of directors met and approved the following Talking Points that members of the industry can use to answer questions you all may be getting regarding the industry’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.
In conversations with state and federal policymakers, RVIA said it is asking to recognize the RV industry, including parks and campgrounds, as essential businesses that are uniquely able and willing to support on the national, state and local level.
Things are evolving quickly on the state level and staff at the association is working 24/7 to remain in constant contact with state policymakers across the country.
RVIA, the RV Dealers Association, and the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds recently sent out a letter to all 50 state governors, urging them to recognize the RV industry and campgrounds as essential businesses as they weigh and implement measures in response to the virus in their individual states.
RVIA will continue to monitor the spread of this virus and its potential impact on the RV industry. Click this link for the latest information from RVIA.
