RV Industry Association President Craig Kirby recently sent out the following letter in regards COVID-19 and the information RVIA has gathered for members of the industry:

Good Afternoon Members,

As we go through the current COVID-19 crisis together, I am so proud to be part of an industry that has stepped up to help those in need. They say that a person’s true character reveals itself under a lot of stress and, if that is the case, what is obvious to me is that our entire industry is made of high character and heart. If you have not seen many of the generous member charitable examples, please visit our website. I promise you that even in these trying times you will feel good after seeing how our industry is standing tall in the middle of a life and death battle.

The RV Industry Association continues to be focused on having RV businesses deemed as essential so that manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and campgrounds have the option of staying open, provided they are in compliance with the CDC guidelines. We have an excellent chart on our website that provides the latest information regarding the status of RV manufacturers and dealers as essential businesses in all states. Recently, we have turned our attention to providing a multitude of resources and information to help you navigate the CARES Act. From Infographics to articles, webinars and even an SBA 7A loan overview with a direct link to the Paycheck Protection Program application, we are here to provide you with the resources you need to make the right decisions for your business.

Our team takes a lot of pride in our core value of placing our members first. We especially want to be there for you during these challenging times and as we emerge from this crisis. By early next week we will have called each of our members and plan to continue to do so as we want to know how you are doing and how we can best help you during this crisis. As I have said before, we view ourselves as being the Washington branch of your company and we exist to serve you.

Please make sure you stay up to date on the latest information about COVID-19 and government recovery efforts by continuing to visit If you are not receiving our communications, you can reach out to any member of our team to be added to our distribution.

Please stay healthy, everyone!
