Congress passes a new farm bill every five years, and what may not be widely known is that it affects more than just agriculture. This coming Thursday, the RV Industry Association will host a brief but informative webinar on why the Farm Bill is important to the RV industry, as well as to the wider outdoor recreation economy.
The Farm Bill has the potential to grow local economies, invigorate rural communities, build sustainable infrastructure, secure access to public lands and waters and more through investments in outdoor recreation resources. These important investments will help support the $862 billion outdoor recreation economy which, according to the Department of Commerce, grew three times faster than the U.S. economy as a whole from 2020 to 2021.
This webinar will give attendees a head start if they are planning on attending RVs Move America week in June, in which industry representatives will meet with their members of Congress.
