RVIA Webinars: EV Charging Station Access and the Dangers of ‘Greenwashing’
As the federal government begins to invest unprecedented amounts of funding into EV charging infrastructure, the RV Industry Association’s Government Affairs team launched lobbying efforts to ensure plans for this new charging infrastructure account for RVs. As part of those efforts, RVIA released a report and financial analysis earlier this summer that makes the case for federal funding to be used to install pull-through electric vehicle charging stations to meet the needs of RVers today and well into the future.
On Thursday, Sept. 21, RVIA President of Government Affairs Jason Rano, will provide updates on the EV charging infrastructure initiative and share the latest insights into RVers’ plans for buying and using EVs to tow RVs.
The webinar, “Why Pull-Thru Charging is Critical for Our Industry,” will be at 2 p.m. ET Thursday, Sept. 21. Click here to register.
The EV webinar comes two days after another one RVIA is hosting on “greenwashing” – when companies proclaim themselves as supportive of environmental efforts, but in fact if you look below the surface they are only pretending to care.
Three in four people considering purchasing an RV say sustainability has an impact on their purchase decisions, so the challenge is for companies to market their sustainability efforts without running the risk of “greenwashing.”
That webinar is also at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Click here to register.
