The 2021 RV Industry Profile, published by the RV Industry Association, provides a detailed look at RV production and shipment statistics, including historical comparisons of shipment data and unit dollar volume as well as production breakdowns by product type and shipment destination.
Key findings from the report include:
- Indiana overwhelmingly continues to lead the country in RV production and manufacturing 85% of all RVs in the United States and Canada.
- Texas remains the top destination for RV shipments, receiving 9.42% of total RV wholesale shipments followed by California (7.02%), Florida (5.31%), Michigan (3.89%), and Ohio (3.83%).
- Wholesale RV shipments finished with more than 600,000 units for the year, with a retail value of $22.94 billion.
- Data focusing on park model RV shipments for 2021 as well as historical information back to 2012 is included in the report.
