RVIA’s Emerging Leaders Coalition to Lead Second Annual Volunteer Day

RVIA

The RV Industry Association (RVIA)’s Emerging Leaders Coalition said it is still seeking volunteers for its second annual All-Industry Volunteer Day.

This year, the group will be cleaning up Ox Bow County Park in Goshen, Indiana, on Wednesday, May 10.

“With more and more Americans turning to RVs as the ideal way to experience an active outdoor lifestyle, it’s become critical that our parks are given the attention they need and deserve,” the organization said in its call for volunteers.

Volunteers can sign up for a single shift or multiple shifts in the following time slots:

8:30 – 11:30 a.m.

11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

2:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The Emerging Leaders Coalition kicked off their annual Volunteer Day event last year at Potato Creek State Park, where more than 400 volunteers participated. This has since received the Department of Natural Resources’ Partnership Award, which recognizes cooperative efforts between a property and a community organization that support projects and facilities to serve property guests.
