RVs Move America Week is only six short weeks away!
This is such an essential week for the industry, as it highlights the success and growth the $140 billion American-made RV industry has experienced to policymakers on Capitol Hill. During Advocacy Day last year, we had close to 140 people on the Hill who attended nearly 115 meetings. These meetings have helped to move the needle on important issues within the RV Industry, and ultimately aided the passing of pivotal legislation, such as the Expanding Public Lands Outdoor Recreation Experiences (EXPLORE) Act that just passed the House last week.
The impact from these advances is widespread, and they help to supply significant experiences available to RVers nationwide. And the best part is you can personally help make a difference! While the RV industry continues to step up to meet sustained interest in camping and the outdoors, many challenges remain. Let’s join together to remind Congress of the critical role the RV industry plays in outdoor recreation and the American economy.
Just as important, RVs Move America Week is where we come together as an Association to nurture ideas and chart the future course for the industry. Everyone who volunteers their time to participate is so fundamental because our committees help provide guidance to the board on the strategic direction of the association. The unity that is exhibited between all types of member companies, manufacturers, suppliers, aftermarket suppliers, finance firms, reps and others is second to none, and the work done this week has direct impact on the industry and leads to real-world results.
