Lithium-ion battery technology is becoming more widespread in the RV industry, driven in part by the increasing popularity of boondocking and off-the-grid camping, as well as more people working and home-schooling in their RVs.
This relatively new technology is the subject of this week’s RVing in New England, the weekly Facebook Live talk show hosted by Bob Zagami and John DePietro. This week their guest will be Jack Johnson, co-founder and chief technology officer at Volta Power Systems.
Volta empowers small and mid-size OEMs with access to advanced energy storage technology previously only possible for large automakers, according to the company. Tonight, Johnson and the hosts will have a fun, informal and educational discussion of the new power systems that are offered on Winnebago, Tiffin, Storyteller Overland, Liberty Coach, Advanced RV and other RV manufacturers.
RVing in New England is live every Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on the New England RV Dealers Association Facebook page, which is located here.
