The RV Women’s Alliance is hosting another Coffee, Lunch and Learn gathering at noon Eastern on Friday via Zoom. This week the RVWA presents athlete, soldier and entrepreneur Shannon Polson, delivering a talk entitled, “What Does it Take to Succeed in a Male-Dominated World?”
Polson is the youngest woman to ever climb Denali, the highest mountain in North America, and has reached the summits of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Kilimanjaro.
“Yet it was her experience serving as one of the Army’s first female attack helicopter pilots, leading two Apache flight platoons, that she learned the lessons of leadership she would take with her for the rest of her life,” the RVWA says in its announcement.
Polson is the founder and CEO of The Grit Institute, a leadership development organization dedicated to ethical and people-centered leadership. It offers online courses online and in-person training, as well as keynote speeches from Polson.
Polson’s talk is at noon Eastern this Friday, June 19. Click here to register.
