The RV Women’s Alliance will host a webinar this Friday on “a simple, effective, and repeatable tool designed to help women achieve a negotiation mindset and realize better results.” The webinar will feature John Tinghitella and Nicole Martin, authors of the book, “No Fear Negotiation for Women.”
Tinghitella is a longtime member of the RV industry and will be joined by his co-author, who is an internationally renowned speaker, author and CEO. The RVWA describes Martin as “a dynamic and empowering consultative leader and futurist skilled in helping organizations meet their strategic objectives through their people and a strong example of what women can achieve when supported with opportunities.”
“Women in the American economy have faced systemic unfairness in compensation and upward mobility,” said Tinghitella. “They have to work harder than their male peers, to get less. A lot less. In fact, 80 cents on a male dollar. In 2014, women became the majority gender in the United States. Yet the changes in workplace policy and dynamics to attract and retain women as a competitive advantage have yet to be made.”
“We know that women who step forward into the opportunities present in today’s economy will make a tremendous impact,” said RV Women’s Alliance President Susan Carpenter. “Our mission echoes the desire of these authors. We are here to accelerate the trend of women making headway in the workplace as well as supporting businesses with initiatives that will expand opportunities for women.”
