At the recent RVX event in Salt Lake City, the RV Women’s Alliance was launched at an informal cocktail reception. The RVWA’s vision is to elevate the roles and contributions women make to the RV industry by promoting diversity and providing programs, resources and a collaborative environment. NERVDA announced that it will host Susan Carpenter, an industry veteran who helped get RVWA off the ground, on its Facebook program at 7 p.m. ET today.
Carpenter will talk about the formation of the group, the new board of directors, and some of the projects they hope to work on. Men are also encouraged to join the group. All members can become mentors to help others advance their careers.
Women play a critical role in all aspects of our industry: manufacturer’s, suppliers, dealers, campgrounds and the media.
