SeaSucker, manufacturer of vacuum-mounted marine, camp and RV, and automotive accessories, recently won an Innovation Award for its Basking Bag at the 2024 Miami International Boat Show.
Presented by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International, the Innovation Awards acknowledge manufacturers that bring new and innovative products to market, the company said in a release. Winning in the ‘Personal Gear, Soft Goods’ category, the SeaSucker Basking Bag is a large fabric bag with a closing mechanism that allows the option for pitching trash or holding dirty laundry.
“It solves a real-world boating problem,” said award judge Tony Esposito. “Who among us hasn’t had to dive in the water to retrieve an overboard trash bag?”
