Second Round of Section 232 Steel & Aluminum Inclusion Requests Published

The following is an update from the RV Industry Association on tariffs.
On Oct. 7, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) published 95 inclusion requests (which can include numerous Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes) for additional steel and aluminum derivative products to be subject to Section 232 steel and aluminum tariffs.
The 232 tariff rates are set at 50% applied to metal portion and appropriate reciprocal tariff rates apply to the rest.
There are over 500 unique 8-digit subheadings spread across 30 different Harmonized Tariff Schedules of the United States Chapters in play. Sorini, Samet & Associates created a streamlined list available here (RVIA members-only; login required).
Public comments in response to these new inclusion requests must be submitted by Oct. 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Review the list of inclusion requests and contact Samantha Rocci, director of federal affairs, at srocci@rvia.org, if you are interested in filing rebuttal comments.
