Senate to Vote on Great American Outdoors Act
The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote on the bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act (S.3422) as early as today, according to the RV Industry Association.
According to the organization, which has been a big supporter in pushing this legislation forward, the landmark GAOA will improve the safety and enjoyment of RVers on federal and state lands by providing non-taxpayer dollars to address issues such as crumbling roads, bridges, campgrounds, marinas, historical sites, visitor centers, and more. The bipartisan bill not only will benefit the more than 20 million current RVers, it also will protect national parks and public lands and increase recreation access for generations of RVers to come.
The RVIA urges you to contact your state’s senators and ask for their “yes” vote, and it has established a quick contact page for reaching your representatives here.
