The 2017 Phoenix lineup from Shasta RV has expanded with the introduction of the lightweight Phoenix X-lite series.
The Phoenix X-lite series is designed for those looking for a shorter lightweight fifth wheel with the amenities of a larger full size model. The first three introductory models are all 32 feet and under with wardrobe slides and designed for today’s mid-sized pickups, the company reported in a news release Friday (March 4).
The Phoenix X-lite series offers three triple-slide floorplans. Designed with an Aluma-Core 16 construction, the fifth wheels all come in under 8,600 pounds.
Aluma-Core 16 construction consists of a construction method not found in the mid-profile market today, the company said. Aluminum studs on 16-inch centers, including slide rooms, and a hung glass fiberglass sidewall construction method makes the X-lite super light and exceptionally strong.
An extreme weather package called Weather Shield, ensures that the Phoenix X-lite fifth wheel is comfortable in all climates.
Extra insulation, enclosed dump valves, and reflective foil wrap on the walls, roof and floor, provide the comfort customers are looking for in an all-weather package.
The exterior of the Phoenix X-lite series has an elegant appeal with excellent lines and sporty graphics. The painted front aerodynamic cap is newly designed to integrate Turning Point Technology, to assist in the turning of extended cab short bed trucks.
The interior on the new X-lite features LED interior lighting, two-tone wood colors, and a designer valance package. Consumers will appreciate the large standard double door refrigerator, 40-inch LED TV and Bluetooth stereo while traveling in their new X-lite series.
