MHRV Show Association, which produces the Seattle and Puyallup RV shows, has joined the shows’ sponsor, Washington State Employees Credit Union, to donate $1 each from every regularly priced ticket sold at the events to Washington State Parks.

The result is the $13,250 joint contribution. Last year, the groups’ donation totaled $14,608.

“We love working with a partner like MHRV Show Association that shares our vision of being a responsible neighbor,” said Ann Flannigan, WSECU’s vice president of public relations. “When you combine RVs together with parks – it’s just a natural fit.”

MHRV Show Director Dave Helgeson says the contribution has allowed the groups to double any contribution they could make individually.

“The Association has long been a supporter of our state parks,” said Dave Helgeson, MHRV show director. “These amazing places need our attention and our support to keep them accessible and maintained for the next generation. We’re happy to collaborate again with the credit union to help assure that.”
