Sika Corp. recently introduced the Sikaflex-510 AM50 into the Sika Industry vertical glass product catalog. Sikaflex-510 AM50 is a one-component, low modulus, fast-curing, elastomeric hybrid sealant.
Sikaflex-510 is suited for weather-sealing window perimeters, joints or gaps connecting dissimilar substrates. It adheres to non-porous substrates and applications that will require painting. Additionally, this product meets ASTM C920, Class 50, has UV resistance and weathering, low VOCs, color retention, and a fast skin time.
“The addition of Sikaflex-510 AM50 to our vertical glass product offering enables our vertical glass business unit to have a comprehensive product portfolio of silicones, polyurethanes and hybrid products for weather seal applications,” said Russ Livermore, VP of industry marketing.
