Ed McNamara will be awarded the first doctoral certificate with Sobel University. He will deliver his doctoral thesis at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, at the Courtyard by Marriot in Tacoma, Wash.
McNamara’s doctoral thesis included putting together a working system to hire and train technicians starting as early as their junior year of high school. His work forges new ground in solving the ongoing problem of not having enough skilled technicians to keep up with increased sales and growing service demand in the RV industry.
McNamara will present his thesis to students enrolled in the Advanced Comprehensive Sales Course with Sobel University. After his presentation to the student body, he will be answering questions over a luncheon to industry professionals
Reservations for his presentation and luncheon can be made separately from the five-day Comprehensive Sales Course for all dealers, general managers, and service directors who would like to learn more about how to set up his system in their own stores.
Entrance for the course is $50 per person.
