Sobel University announced that it had a record-breaking year for enrollment in the Comprehensive Sales Course following back-to-back classes in Tacoma, Wash., and Atlanta, Ga. More than 100 salespeople, managers and owners were enrolled in each of the November and December courses.
“The dealers we work with know that in order to retain their professional staff, they need to provide on-going training each year.” said Randy Sobel, president of Sobel University. “While winter enrollment has increased, this is a trend we saw throughout 2018.”
With the increased Sobel University prepared additional trainers to make the student to trainer ratio more productive for these and future classes.
“Dealerships that we have been training with for years continue to rotate salespeople through each year,” said Sobel. “It’s important to these dealers that their sales staff has the most current tools to help today’s consumers.”
In addition to increasing support staff to these classes, Sobel University has partnered with area hotels to accommodate the rise in attendance.
“We have room blocks reserved with our partner hotels, but these fill quickly,” said Kyla Carter, course administrator. “Dealerships enrolling for upcoming courses should reach out to us early to reserve seats and hotel rooms as space is limited.”
